Vaidehi Thakare is a Project Controls Specialist with diverse experience across various sectors like transportation, residential, healthcare, and commercial construction industries. 

She has experience in providing Critical Path Method scheduling (Primavera P6), cost estimating, cost budgeting & analysis, delay analysis, and project controls in the construction industry. She is currently working for the Contract Solutions group within Arcadis. 

She is certified in project planning and management in Primavera P6 & MS Project from Synergy School of Business and Management.  She is also certified in Construction Manager-in-Training (CMIT) and OSHA.

Vaidehi holds a Master of Science in Construction Engineering and Management from the University of Texas at Arlington and has done Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from the University of Pune, India.

My Project is Late! How Much Is that Going to Cost?

Project overhead cost claims are often submitted when construction projects experience delays and productivity impacts.  The claimed costs often include both home and field overhead costs and are the Contractor’s attempt to recover damages.  In this presentation, you’ll discover methodologies to calculate and evaluate these costs, including identification of common pitfalls and advantages and disadvantages of each method.  You will also learn how a contractor’s accounting system and bid documents can be used for the evaluation of these claims.

Join this session to have a better understanding of various overhead calculations and evaluations for the delay and productivity claims.
