Gillian has 20+ years of experience in Project Controls in the Oil and Gas industry specifically.  

Starting her career with an engineering contractor, prior to joining an operator, she worked her way up through the ranks of various project control disciplines to the Head of Project Services role at BHP.  As a Project Services Manager in an owner company projects have included both Operated and Non-Operated, Greenfield and Brownfield and all phases of a project lifecycle from pre-development assessments, front end planning through execution and close out. She then became the Head of Projects Portfolio Information at Woodside Energy where the focus was on streamlining processes and systems and integrating with other parts of the business to ensure successful delivery of projects in the digital age.

Gillian is able to be successful through building trusting relationships at every level and being highly accountable through her daily actions. She enjoys delivering strong business outcomes, coupled with creating a culture of care and supporting development of others. She also loves sharing her passion for Project Controls and developing it as a profession for others to follow in. As a lifelong learner, she is motivated by learning new things and loves the challenge of leadership in learning and evolving as a leader every day.
