About

Hassan Emam is a principal consultant at Logikal. He is an award-winning planning and controls professional who has won the “Global Project Controls Professional Award” in 2019.

He gained diversified experience in construction project management, working in a variety of projects such as airports, residential buildings, hotels, bridges, infrastructure, tunneling, and railways. This diversity in experience led to an in-depth understanding of the nature and dynamics of the construction industry.

Hassan holds a BSc in civil engineering and an MBA for construction executives. Currently, he is writing up his Ph.D. thesis.

Hassan has over 20 publications, and he is active in the research areas of digital transformation and artificial intelligence in construction.

In addition to his academic qualifications, he holds professional qualifications as Planning and Scheduling Professional (PSP) from AACEi, Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Building (MCIOB), Microsoft Professional Program in Data Science, Microsoft Certified Application Developer (MCAD), and membership in the Egyptian syndicate of engineers.

This presentation will introduce you to what AI is and how using artificial intelligence for project controls improves the project’s predictability and success rates.
