Title & Abstract

AI Co-pilot for Digital Project Delivery

Boosting PACE: Predictability, Assurance and Control of Execution

Introducing technology that assists and collaborates with a human user, often in tasks that involve decision-making, problem-solving, or information processing during execution of projects – block by block. “AI Copilot” specifically refer to tools or software that help people responsible for their deliverables by suggesting material position in real-time, providing documentation, or aiding in managing the constraints. The system uses artificial intelligence (AI) algorithms to analyze work scope, understand context, and offer relevant suggestions to enhance the efficiency and productivity of the people involved in delivering it.

Anchored on Teknobuilt’s Unified AI platform, PACE OS, which connects and channelizes people, workflows, and data to streamline the work scope across all stages of the project life cycle (i.e., design development, construction, and operating assets efficiently), the following benefits are achieved:

    • Visibility to data by context, time, and its ownership.
    • Connected workflows in an automated and guided framework.
    • Unified intelligence for decision-makers.

Over 80% of capital projects invariably get delayed and suffer cost overruns. Project Controls fraternity has an important role to play to set this right. Taking a holistic approach but with multiple digital levers, a paradigm shift in bringing people, processes and data with AI predictive mitigation to boost productivity of energy and infrastructure projects is possible. Teknobuilt is already doing it in over $10Bln projects with Exxon, Shell & Microsoft Datacenters.

Industry benchmark studies also report 30 to 40% of wastage in construction projects. McKinsey estimates this to cost the world around $ 1.6 trillion annually. This has to be reduced. It is not only about reducing this wastage, rework, interruptions but also adding further efficiencies by optimal sequencing and alignment of design, supply chain and construction. A unified platform, real-time machine learning model that captures the entire unstructured data in this industry and converts it into proactive intelligence in a timely manner.

The session will gear you up to harness the power of digital technology, embedded with best practices of Digital AWP (Advanced Work Packaging) and Lean (Kanban, Kaizen, Last Planner). It is time we get together in the mission to help the world build safely, smartly, and sustainably.
