Title & Abstract

The Benefits and Use of TIME-LOCATION Schedules

Although time-location diagrams have been used for decades to depict linear schedules in a more visual and concise way, many owners and contractors still are not aware of their benefits.

By adding the location dimension (or space) to a construction schedule, the progress of the services can be shown by lines in a time-location chart. This kind of schedule is very useful in repetitive and/or rectilinear projects.

In this presentation, you will learn the benefits of time-location schedules for consolidation of information, presentation of plan of attack and interferences, monitoring of progress, and dispute resolution.
