Digital Transformation in Project Controls
Today’s digital age and rapidly emerging technologies are challenging the old norms and providing opportunities to drive rapid, step-change improvements in how capital projects collect, curate, and implement Project Controls data, transforming “oceans” of it into useful information enabling beneficial management actions.
This panel will explore how Digital Transformation in Project Controls is improving the quality, timeliness, and usefulness of the entire data environment on projects. However, these changes often are not easy to implement let alone standardize within or across businesses.
We will discuss best practices relative to change management and the human aspects of digital transformation. We will address this from both a public and private project perspective, from both a unique project as well as a high-volume repetitive project perspective, and from project inception through facility decommissioning.
We also will explore exciting advancements in training the next generation of Project Controls professionals, including new developments in engineering and construction curriculum at leading universities.
