Mr. Dysert’s vast industry experience spans diverse sectors, including refining, chemicals, petrochemicals, oil sands, synfuels, LNG, gas plants, pipelines, power, mining, manufacturing, photochemical, film sensitizing, semiconductor, food products, and similar industrial facilities. He has contributed his expertise to major construction projects worldwide, in locations such as the United States, Canada, Brazil, Chile, Venezuela, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Saudi Arabia, Australia, and Indonesia.

Mr. Dysert is an active and esteemed member of AACE International, where he has held positions as a past vice president and chair of AACE’s Technical Board. His contributions to the organization have earned him the distinction of being a Fellow of AACE International, as well as receiving prestigious awards such as AACE’s Total Cost Management Award and the AACE Award of Merit.

In recognition of his profound impact on the field, he has also been granted Honorary Lifetime Membership. Notably, Mr. Dysert chaired the task force responsible for the development of AACE’s Certified Estimating Professional Program.

Moreover, his influence in the field extends to his role as the author of chapters in the AACE Total Cost Management Framework and the Skills and Knowledge of Cost Engineering. He has also taken the lead in developing fourteen AACE International Recommended Practices and has contributed to over 30 additional recommended practices, cementing his legacy as a leading figure in the world of cost estimating and engineering.
