Terms & Conditions
1. General Provisions
These Terms & Conditions apply to Project Control Summit (the “Event”), projectcontrolsummit.com (the “Site”), and registrations, tickets, passes, add-ons, and related purchases made through the Site.
The Site and Event are operated by Project Control Academy, part of Excellence Accelerators LLC (“Project Control Academy,” “Project Control Summit,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By registering for the Event, purchasing a ticket or related product, using the Site, or attending the Event, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
We may update these terms from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your purchase will generally apply to that purchase, except where changes are required by law or are reasonably necessary for the operation, safety, or administration of the Event.
2. Event Program and Changes
Project Control Summit is a live event, and circumstances may occasionally require changes to the published program.
Speakers, session titles, schedules, formats, activities, room assignments, exhibitors, sponsors, amenities, and other Event elements are subject to change without notice.
We may substitute speakers, modify session times, change programming, adjust Event spaces, or make other reasonable changes when necessary. Such changes do not constitute grounds for a refund.
3. No Professional Advice
Information presented through the Site or Event is provided for educational and informational purposes only.
Presentations, discussions, demonstrations, materials, opinions, and other Event content should not be considered financial, legal, investment, engineering, technical, or other professional advice applicable to your specific circumstances.
Attendees are responsible for evaluating information independently and obtaining appropriate professional advice when necessary.
4. Content Accuracy and Liability
We make reasonable efforts to provide accurate and useful information; however, we do not guarantee that information presented on the Site or during the Event will always be complete, current, error-free, or appropriate for every situation.
Views and opinions expressed by speakers, sponsors, exhibitors, attendees, or other third parties are their own and do not necessarily represent those of Project Control Academy or Project Control Summit.
5. Registration and Communications
You are responsible for providing accurate and complete information when registering.
We will use the contact information you provide to send communications necessary to administer your registration and participation, including confirmations, tickets, program updates, Event instructions, hotel information, and important operational notices.
Where permitted by applicable law and based on your communication preferences, we may also send information about future Project Control Summit events, Project Control Academy programs, or related offerings.
You may unsubscribe from optional marketing communications at any time. Transactional communications related to an active registration may still be sent.
For additional information regarding the collection and use of personal information, please review our Privacy Policy.
6. Admission and Attendee Conduct
Project Control Summit is a professional event. Attendees are expected to conduct themselves respectfully and professionally toward other attendees, speakers, sponsors, exhibitors, volunteers, Event staff, hotel personnel, and other participants.
We reserve the right to refuse admission or remove any individual whose behavior is disruptive, unsafe, abusive, harassing, discriminatory, fraudulent, or otherwise inconsistent with the professional environment of the Event.
Unauthorized selling, solicitation, distribution of promotional materials, or commercial activity by individuals or organizations that are not approved sponsors or exhibitors is prohibited.
Badges and tickets are issued to registered attendees and may not be shared, duplicated, resold, or transferred except in accordance with the transfer provisions below.
Providing false registration information, credentials, or identification may result in cancellation of registration or removal from the Event without refund.
Unless otherwise expressly stated for a particular activity, individuals under the age of 18 are not permitted in conference sessions or the Expo Hall.
7. Photography, Video, and Event Recordings
Photography, filming, livestreaming, and audio or video recording may occur throughout the Event.
By entering Event areas, you acknowledge that you may be photographed, filmed, or recorded and grant Project Control Academy and Project Control Summit permission to use your image, likeness, voice, and appearance in photographs, video, audio, and other media for Event documentation, education, marketing, promotional, and related business purposes, without additional compensation.
Attendees may not professionally record, livestream, reproduce, or distribute presentations, workshops, or other protected Event content without prior written authorization.
8. Individual Registration: Cancellation and Refund Policy
Unless expressly stated otherwise at the time of purchase, individual Event registrations are final and non-refundable.
Failure to attend the Event, late arrival, early departure, schedule conflicts, changes in employment, travel disruptions, or other personal circumstances do not create an entitlement to a refund or credit.
If you are unable to attend, you may request to transfer your registration to another eligible attendee in accordance with the Ticket Transfer Policy below.
9. Ticket Transfers
Individual registrations may generally be transferred to another person until the transfer deadline published for the applicable Event.
Unless a different deadline is expressly stated, transfer requests must be received at least 30 days before the Event begins.
All transfer requests must be submitted in writing to:
support@projectcontrolacademy.com
Transfers are subject to approval and completion of any required attendee information.
No ticket transfers will be processed onsite or after the applicable transfer deadline.
Tickets may not be resold for profit or offered through unauthorized third-party marketplaces.
10. Group Registrations and Corporate Packages
Group registrations and Corporate Packages are final and non-refundable once purchased.
After payment, our team may request attendee names, email addresses, roles, and other required registration information so individual registrations can be issued.
If a registered team member can no longer attend, the organization may request that the registration be reassigned to another eligible team member, subject to the applicable transfer deadline.
No transfers will be processed onsite or after the deadline.
If a registered group member does not attend, no refund, credit, or reduction in the group purchase will be provided.
Benefits, reserved seating, branding, visibility, ticket quantities, discounts, and other inclusions vary by package and are governed by the benefits published or agreed upon at the time of purchase.
11. Group Registration Discounts
Group registration discounts may be offered for qualifying purchases.
Eligibility requirements, minimum attendee quantities, discount levels, deadlines, and other conditions may vary by Event and will be displayed on the applicable registration page or communicated at the time of purchase.
Group discounts cannot be combined with other promotions unless expressly stated.
12. Visa Invitation Letters for International Attendees
International attendees who require a visa may request an official Event invitation letter after completing registration and paying the applicable registration fee in full.
The invitation letter is provided solely to confirm registration and support the attendee’s visa application. It does not guarantee issuance of a visa.
Visa decisions are made solely by the applicable embassy, consulate, or government authority, and Project Control Academy has no influence over the outcome or processing time.
Attendees are responsible for applying sufficiently early and for all costs associated with their visa application and travel.
Unless a specific visa-related refund exception is expressly published as part of the applicable Event registration terms, inability to obtain a visa does not override the Event’s general non-refundable registration policy.
13. Discounts, Promotional Codes, and Special Offers
Discounts, promotional codes, Flash Sale pricing, Early Bird pricing, special offers, and other incentives may be subject to availability, deadlines, quantity limits, eligibility requirements, or other restrictions.
Unless expressly stated otherwise:
- Discount codes cannot be combined.
- Discounts must be applied before completing the purchase.
- Discounts cannot be applied retroactively.
- Promotional codes may not be transferred, resold, or publicly distributed without authorization.
- Special pricing may end at any time once the applicable allocation is exhausted.
- Complimentary upgrades or special accommodations are not guaranteed.
Tickets obtained through unauthorized resale or misuse of promotional offers may be canceled without refund.
14. VIP Benefits
VIP ticket holders receive the benefits listed for the applicable VIP package at the time of purchase.
VIP benefits may include features such as preferred seating, dedicated registration access, VIP identification, exclusive gifts, social activities, training credits, speaker resources, and access to Event recordings.
Certain VIP benefits may be subject to availability, scheduling, capacity, or separate instructions.
VIP benefits are personal to the registered VIP attendee and may not be separately transferred or redeemed for cash.
15. Event Recordings and Presentation Materials
General Admission registration does not automatically include access to Event video recordings unless expressly stated at the time of purchase.
VIP registration may include complimentary recording access for the access period specified as part of the VIP package.
Where recordings are offered for sale separately, access terms and pricing will be communicated independently.
We aim to make available recordings within a reasonable period following the Event; however, editing, speaker approvals, technical issues, or other circumstances may affect availability.
Not every Event session is guaranteed to be recorded or distributed.
Presentation slides and other speaker materials are provided only when the speaker has authorized their distribution.
Once digital recording access or other digital content has been delivered, the purchase is final and non-refundable except where otherwise required by law.
16. Professional Development Credits
The Event may provide opportunities to earn Professional Development Units (PDUs), Continuing Education Units (CEUs), or other professional development credits.
The number and type of credits available may vary based on sessions attended, participation requirements, professional association rules, and other criteria.
Attendees remain responsible for determining whether specific Event activities qualify toward their individual certification, licensing, or professional development requirements and for completing any required reporting.
17. Meals and Dietary Requirements
Certain meals, refreshments, or receptions may be included with registration as described on the applicable Event page or ticket package.
We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate common dietary requirements when those requirements are communicated by the stated deadline. However, we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment or accommodation of every dietary restriction.
Attendees with serious food allergies or medical dietary requirements remain responsible for determining whether available food is appropriate for them.
18. Official Hotel and Accommodation
Project Control Summit may negotiate special accommodation rates with an official Event hotel.
Registered attendees may receive access to a dedicated hotel booking link or instructions after registration.
Hotel reservations are separate transactions between the attendee and the hotel and are subject to the hotel’s own reservation, cancellation, payment, and other policies.
Special conference rates and room availability are limited and are not guaranteed until a reservation is confirmed directly by the hotel.
Any complimentary hotel-related benefits, such as breakfast or other amenities, apply only when expressly stated and may be subject to eligibility requirements, booking through the official room block, and hotel policies.
Project Control Academy is not responsible for hotel rate changes, room availability, incidental charges, reservation disputes, or other matters controlled by the hotel.
19. Social Activities and Optional Experiences
The Event may include optional social activities, networking experiences, excursions, workshops, or other add-on activities.
Some activities may require separate registration, additional payment, advance reservation, signed waivers, or compliance with third-party rules.
Availability may be limited and participation is not guaranteed unless confirmed.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, optional activity purchases are non-refundable.
Project Control Academy reserves the right to modify, substitute, relocate, or cancel an optional activity when reasonably necessary.
20. Ask the Expert and Other Advisory Sessions
Certain Event programs may provide attendees with opportunities to participate in complimentary or paid one-on-one conversations, expert discussions, roundtables, mentoring sessions, or similar activities.
Participation may require advance booking and is subject to availability.
Advice, comments, opinions, or suggestions offered by participating experts are educational in nature and should not be considered professional consulting services or guarantees of any particular outcome.
21. Expo Hall, Sponsors, and Exhibitors
The Expo Hall may include third-party sponsors, exhibitors, technology providers, consultants, and service providers.
Their products, services, demonstrations, statements, claims, promotions, and business practices are their own responsibility.
Participation in the Event does not constitute an endorsement, warranty, or recommendation by Project Control Academy of any third-party product, service, or organization.
Any purchase, agreement, or business relationship entered into between an attendee and a sponsor, exhibitor, or other third party is solely between those parties.
22. Sponsorship Terms and Conditions
Sponsorship and exhibition purchases are governed by separate Sponsorship Terms & Conditions.
Organizations purchasing sponsorship or exhibition packages agree to the terms published at:
https://projectcontrolsummit.com/sponsorship-terms/
If there is a conflict between these general Event Terms & Conditions and the Sponsorship Terms & Conditions regarding a sponsorship or exhibition purchase, the Sponsorship Terms & Conditions will control.
23. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, the Site, Event branding, graphics, text, videos, recordings, designs, materials, and other content owned or produced by Project Control Academy or Project Control Summit are protected intellectual property.
Event presentations and materials may also contain intellectual property owned by individual speakers, sponsors, exhibitors, or other third parties.
Attendees may not reproduce, publish, sell, distribute, modify, commercially exploit, or create derivative works from protected Event content without the appropriate owner’s prior written permission.
Registration for the Event does not transfer ownership of any intellectual property rights to the attendee.
24. No Guarantee of Results
We work to create a high-quality Event experience; however, we cannot guarantee that attendance will produce any particular professional, educational, financial, employment, networking, business, or other outcome.
Results depend on many factors, including the attendee’s objectives, participation, circumstances, and actions.
We do not guarantee meetings with specific attendees, speakers, sponsors, exhibitors, employers, customers, prospects, or other individuals or organizations.
25. Health, Safety, and Personal Responsibility
Attendees participate in the Event and any associated activities voluntarily and are responsible for their own health, safety, travel arrangements, personal belongings, and conduct.
Attendees must comply with reasonable safety, security, venue, hotel, and Event requirements in effect during the Event.
We may modify health or safety procedures when reasonably necessary or when required by applicable law, government authorities, the venue, or other relevant parties.
26. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Project Control Academy, Excellence Accelerators LLC, Project Control Summit, and their officers, employees, contractors, volunteers, and affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or related to the Site, registration, travel, attendance, Event participation, or inability to participate.
This includes, without limitation, lost profits, lost business opportunities, travel expenses, business interruption, loss of data, or personal inconvenience.
Except where prohibited by applicable law, our aggregate liability arising from or related to an attendee’s registration or participation will not exceed the amount actually paid by that attendee to Project Control Academy for the applicable Event registration or purchase giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
27. Personal Property and Travel
Attendees are responsible for their own transportation, airfare, accommodation, passports, visas, travel insurance, personal property, and other travel arrangements unless expressly stated otherwise.
Project Control Academy is not responsible for lost, stolen, damaged, or unattended personal property or for airline delays, flight cancellations, transportation disruptions, hotel issues, weather-related travel problems, or other circumstances affecting an attendee’s ability to travel to or from the Event.
We strongly encourage attendees to consider appropriate travel insurance where needed.
28. Event Cancellation, Postponement, or Relocation
Project Control Academy reserves the right to postpone, relocate, modify, reschedule, convert the format of, or cancel the Event when reasonably necessary.
If the Event is postponed or rescheduled, registrations may be transferred automatically to the rescheduled Event.
If the Event is materially modified or canceled, Project Control Academy will determine and communicate the available options based on the circumstances and applicable legal requirements.
29. Force Majeure
Project Control Academy and its affiliates will not be responsible for delay, interruption, modification, postponement, relocation, or cancellation caused by circumstances beyond their reasonable control.
Such circumstances may include, without limitation, natural disasters, severe weather, fire, flood, epidemic or pandemic, public health emergency, acts of war or terrorism, civil unrest, strikes, transportation disruption, government action or restriction, venue closure, utility or technology failure, or other comparable events.
In such circumstances, we will make reasonable efforts to minimize disruption and communicate available alternatives.
30. Third-Party Websites and Services
The Site or Event communications may contain links to third-party websites, platforms, hotels, payment providers, sponsors, exhibitors, or other services.
We are not responsible for the content, availability, privacy practices, terms, accuracy, or performance of third-party services.
Use of third-party websites or services is subject to their respective terms and policies.
31. Enforcement and Severability
Failure by Project Control Academy to enforce any provision of these Terms & Conditions does not constitute a waiver of that provision.
If any provision is found to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect to the fullest extent permitted by law.
