About
Michael brings over 35 years of experience in project management and controls, spanning both the government and private sectors. His career includes working with leading engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) firms such as URS Corporation, Jacobs Engineering, Kiewit, and Parsons.
In 2009, Michael transitioned to consulting, managing practices for top project and program management firms like SMA, Project Time & Cost (PT&C), Hill International, and Management Solutions, LLC. Throughout his consulting career, he has supported a diverse range of clients, including federal agencies like DOE/NNSA and NAVFAC (Southwest); state and local entities such as LA Metro, San Jose International Airport, and the San Diego County Water Authority (SDCWA); biotech and pharmaceutical companies like Genentech; and contractors including Jacobs, Fluor, and Honeywell FM&T.
Michael also shares his expertise as an adjunct professor at the University of Southern California, teaching graduate-level courses in heavy construction estimating and scheduling.
A longtime member of AACE International, Michael has earned numerous professional certifications and was honored as a Fellow of the association. He served as President of AACE International from 2011 to 2012 and has been actively involved in NDIA’s Integrated Program Management Division (IPMD) and the Energy Facility Contractors Group’s (EFCOG) Project Delivery Working Group (PDWG). Additionally, he serves as Past President of the Orange County Post of the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME).
