Erik Tuma currently has almost 20 years of construction delivery experience from the contractor’s perspective in supporting multiple industries including, US Government, Vertical Construction, Heavy Civil Construction, and Water/Wastewater. 

Erik’s support of projects has allowed him to travel the world and support some keystone projects such as Hurricane Katrina support in New Orleans, the Panama Canal Lock Expansion, and supporting the warfighter during Operation Enduring Freedom. 

Erik is a member of AACEi and holds a current Planning and Scheduling Professional certification.

This presentation will reveal best practices in Time Impact Analysis to prove fault & receive necessary project time extensions. You will learn how to:

  • Clarify what data you need from the job site, the original schedule, subcontractors and other sources to perform robust time impact analysis
  • Track the impact of individual events over time so you can document the actual impact, not an early estimate of time lost

• Ensure you have adequate understanding of the contract and how the specifics of your relationship with the owner and contractual responsibilities may determine the way you need to conduct your analysis
