About

A servant-leader in the industrial sector, Josh has more than 17 years’ experience in execution of major capital projects and management of global project teams. Josh is adept at blending strategic thinking with hands-on project delivery. He possess deep business acumen with an ability to understand commercial, operational, and financial priorities and align operations strategy and initiatives on the areas with the highest impact. 

He currently serves as the Vice President, Capital Projects for Albemarle Corporation’s Lithium Business Unit.  In this capacity he has responsibility for the safe, predictable, and competitive delivery of a global portfolio in excess of $100M annually.

Industry assignments include work as a contractor, consultant, and Owners Representative for major projects.

Josh possess deep knowledge of the Independent Project Analysis (IPA) based capital work process, from Front End Loading through Execution and Construction. He has been a member of CII’s RT-DCC-06 “Project Delivery and Contracting Strategies” and RT-381 “Adapting through Organizational Agility” research teams.

Prior to working in the industrial sector, Josh served in the US Army where he received the Bronze Star for combat leadership in Baghdad, Iraq and the Louisiana Emergency Service Medal for operational support during Hurricane Katrina.
