When COVID-19 changed our original plans, we adapted. The first Project Control Summit came to life virtually in 2020, bringing thousands of professionals together during a time when connection mattered more than ever. Over the next four years, the Summit became the largest global virtual conference in project controls, a truly global platform for sharing knowledge, exploring new ideas, and strengthening the project controls profession across borders.
In 2024, that global community finally came together in person, opening an exciting new chapter. Since then, the Summit has continued to grow in reach, energy, and impact—bringing together professionals, leaders, speakers, and solution providers who are helping shape the future of project controls and project delivery.

Project Control Summit 2026 brought together more than 320 project professionals, industry leaders, speakers, and solution providers from 10 countries for three unforgettable days of learning, connection, and inspiration at Margaritaville Lake Resort.
Built around the theme “Going the Extra Mile in Project Controls,” the Summit challenged attendees to look beyond routine reporting and traditional ways of working—to strengthen their capabilities, embrace new ideas, build meaningful relationships, and elevate the value they bring to their projects and organizations.

Project Control Summit 2024 marked a defining moment in our journey as the global community built through four years of virtual Summits came together in person for the first time in Galveston, Texas.
Guided by the theme “Setting Sail for Success in Project Controls,” the three-day Summit brought project professionals, industry leaders, speakers, and technology providers together for practical learning, forward-looking conversations, meaningful networking, and shared experiences. Our original vision, developed in 2019, was to bring project controls professionals from around the world together through an in-person conference. But when COVID-19 disrupted global travel and gatherings in early 2020, we had to quickly rethink that vision.
Rather than postpone it, we pivoted—and Project Control Summit was born as a virtual conference.
During a time of lockdowns and uncertainty, the inaugural Summit brought thousands of professionals together to learn, connect, exchange ideas, and remain engaged with the global project controls community. In 2020, it became the largest global virtual conference dedicated to project controls.
The success of that first Summit continued for three more years. From 2020 through 2023, the virtual Project Control Summit connected thousands of professionals across countries, industries, and time zones through presentations, panel discussions, technology sessions, networking, and shared learning.
What began as a necessary response to an unprecedented challenge became the foundation of a truly global community—and ultimately paved the way for the first in-person Project Control Summit in 2024.
